How big can you go in terms of Wheel size with a stock F10 ?
I'm not a fan of the stock wheels on the 528i. Considering going with aftermarket wheels but I don't want to lower the car. How big can I go without lowering or sacrificing ride comfort ? The dealer informed me that the 528i's stock wheels are 17 inches, would like to go up to 19 inches, is this feasible ?

19 is definately feasible. From what i've seen on the forum I think you can go up to 20" (that's what I'm currently considering for my 5) without a problem. I've seen a few go up to 21" but not sure if that's without problems. Perhaps some members with aftermarket wheels can chime in...

You can get OEM wheels up to 20".
21" will also fit without increasing the overall wheel diameter. Some has also fitted 22" on the F10, but then you increase the wheel diameter.

the OEM sport set up:
fronts are 8.5Jx19 while the rear is 9Jx19. The tires are 245/40/19 and 275/35/19. You can go 20 on OEM set up, but then the odds of you destroying your tires and rims are even higher.

We've done numerous F10 5's with 20" wheel set ups and haven't had ANY rubbing or comfort problems! We even have a set of 21's being built for an F10 M5! Feel free to PM/call me with any questions you may have and I will be more than happy to help you out! Check out our site and let me know if you see anything you like!

You should have no problem fitting the 20" fitment on the F10. We have done it on numerous customers cars and have had nothing but smiles! The 19" fitment also works fine and with the proper size tire, fits the car nicely! Let me know if you have any questions and ill be happy to help!
