N55 OFHG premature leaking

As the title says, my OFHG at the cooler side is leaking after only 300 miles. The one before it only lasted 17,000 miles.

I purchased the OE gasket from fcp euro and torqued the bolts at 16ft-lb. It doesn’t make sense that this is leaking again so soon unless the bolts are one time use? That’s the only thing I can think of.

What are your thoughts as to why this happened so quickly and how can I prevent a new gasket from leaking again without having to change it?
