So I finally had some time to install my 343m wheels on. Took me a while to find a set but couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Car is dirty, will be setting up a shoot with my buddy soon.

Ebays version of BMWs carpet welcome lights that are featured on the new 7series. No purpose other than aesthetics. Seen it a couple of months ago decided to pull the trigger and try them out.

The more I looked into it the more this started to look gaudy in my opinion. I mean we all had chimed in on the welcome lights thread and how half of us thought it was cool and the other half thought it was douchey

Installed the sequential, smoked repeater turn signals. Took longer than I expected; almost 2 hours. The thing that took the longest was removing the mirror caps. They just didn't want to come off. There is also a channel at the bottom of the light that clips into the lower mirror housing that can be a pain. They look pretty good, if I say so myself. I didn't do a DIY as they are already all over the interwebs. I forgot; my factory lights didn't have a plug so I had to cut the wires of the factory light and solder them to the new light (I also had to cut the plug off of those lights). I also had to wire the new light backwards (THANKS unspec!!) for it to work; black to brown and brown to black.

I can definitely recommend this mod!

I actually got the exact same tips as you! I did it last June and they're holding up fine! Just be warned if you're using oem mufflers, they'll need to be push to the side a bit to make the tips fit the diffuser openings.
