F10 Spark Plug online price!!

Hello

I need to buy new Spark plug set for F10 but i see different prices between EBay and FCPEuro

EBay (6 Set): $30
https://www.ebay.com/itm/6-New-Genui...4AAOSwbzxctnh5

FCPEuro (6 Set): $109
https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...ug-12120037663

I actually just purchased a set of plugs and ignition coils through FCP last week.

Can't beat their exchange policy for wear and tear items like these.

I ended up buying the plugs on eBay and coils on fcp. This was before I knew fcp sells a kit for both.

There have been reports of fake NGKs being sold on EBay. Tips falling apart and stuff like that. I don’t trust eBay for anything these days.

I purchased a set of ngk plugs from eBay. Something told me not to install them. So I purchased a set from my local Autozone to compare. And sure enough the ngk from eBay were fakes. Do not buy from eBay. I only buy my stuff from fcp now!

Just as I would never buy a Scotty Cameron putter from Wish, I would never buy car parts from Chinese shops on eBay

My 2011 535i xDrive just rolled 45k, I get about 18mpg city (no auto stop-start), I have no idea how you'd get 24-26 mpg city. Hwy I get about 26-28mpg at 80mph.

Drive faster! I notice higher mpg at higher speeds. I do a lot of highway. 50 miles one way average. So I do easy 100+ miles on my trips. I'm averaging 22.5 mpg. Cruise speeds of 80-90 mph. And now with hardly anyone on the road...btw I have 126k on the clock now.

I get 26-28mpg on the hwy, why would I drive faster to get worse mpg? If I'm cruising I don't go over 80

You guys are only getting upper 20's? I get a constant 32+ at those speeds on the freeway.

I've never seen over 30 mpg at that speed, but I do have an xDrive car, so maybe that's something to consider

What mode are you driving in?
Out of curiosity, what brand og gas and grade are you throwing in you car?
You have RWD or Xdive?

I have 535i x drive and using BP 93 gas.
Thinking of trying another brand of gas to see if i have any better results.

Still going to order those spark plugs and switch them out soon.

Comfort; Costco 91; RWD. That mileage was over a 5600ish mile road trip with a venture or 2 into triple digits. I also used sport mode a few times in-town. In west Texas I even had the cruise set at just shy of 90. I usually only check my mileage on road trips as I generally don't care anymore.

My 2016 535i doesn't even have 30,000 miles but I'm thinking of tuning it with downpipes and a bootmod3 tune. Should I change the spark plugs before I tune it?
