Hello,

2012 528i

A few months back my car access system started acting weird. It will unlock itself while approaching the car while holding my key fob. If I lock my car with the Comfort Access, all I hear is clicking sound trying to lock and unlock, but nothing happens. Pressing the key fob its a hit or miss.

Found out that my driver's side handle was bad. Disconnected the Comfort access and ordered a new handle.

After putting a new handle. It worked for a like a month before that handle started the same thing mentioned above.

Please I need help with this as I don't want to buy another handle as I am sure there is something else causing this issue.

Have you determined that the issue may be from one of the other handles?

Did you scan the car to see if it gives you any codes?

I have not. But to me I dont think its the handles as the same thing happened to the new handle also.

I did use Ista+ but no codes showed up.

I just disconnected the driver's side handle. I am just using the key fob.
