Did a headlight thing

So over the last 6 months I have been contemplating what to do with my headlights. I REALLY disliked how outdated the white eyebrow and turn signal looked, as well as the inner light.

At the end it was between:

1. Retrofitting OEM LEDs (too much work, too many things to go wrong),
2. Umnitza LED lights (questionable quality, customer service from the reviews I've read)
3. Working with a local custom headlight shop.

At the end, I decided to go with #3, as (in my opinion) nothing beats having OEM fit and finish while at the same time upgrade to something that you won't see at least once a day for the cost of a little more than Umnitza aftermarket headlights.

The final connections have not been made yet to showcase the DRLs, but the bench picture should give an idea what the final result will look like. I will update once the final connectors are done and the car has been coded. Here's a comparison next to another stock F10.

Yes, parking lights, but they will be coded away. Other than that, no other issues.

It depends what you select. You can customize it yourself the way you like it.

So do they supply the headlights I'm assuming? Or am I shopping my headlights to them?

Edit: looks like you ship your set to them. Looks like you went with eye lid switchback, vision ring and gloss black housing paint? What option did you do to looks like the turn signals housing looks darker or is that part of the black housing paint? Looks like itll cost me $1450 less shipping

You supply your own headlights. This is what I liked because I knew fitment wouldnot be an issue. Our headlights alone probably retail more than $1,000 used (even the HID ones) I am in the Chicago area, so the shop was local to me which made it a little easier.

I chose the option with everything, except for Demon Eye and Lens Etching. Came out to $1,610 + additional charges for the items below. They had a 5% discount.

Since they did some additional things that you would do yourself (bumper & headlight removal, wiring harness installation, re-installatoin, coding), I had to pay a little more.

Cool. The turn signals tho look dark. Is that part of the glossy black housing option?

Sorry, forgot to answer that. Yes, the turn signal housings were painted as well. They basically paint everything that's white or schrome into a color that you want.

Ok thanks! BTW, since these our OEM housing why would any coding be needed?

They open them up to install the switchback eyebrow and the Vision Rings. They turn off (unplug) the stock DRLs completely since the new rings use their own new connections. The coding is needed for the error message to go away as the stock DRLs won't be plugged in anymore.

The switchback routes to the sidelamps in the fender and the DRLs route to a location by the fusebox. They have these pre-built wiring harnesses, so everything looks as stock as possible.

Here's an F10 that they did, but this one had the LCI HID headlights. Maybe it's someone's car here?

These are great looking lights! Does anyone knows where I can get just halos (vision rings) like these to update my round halos? I like the look, but the price is a bit much, so If I can do halos retrofit, that would help me save a chunk of money.
