JB4 issues
I wanted to know how many other people here that has used or still use JB4 in their car has had issues with it..
Let me say that i bought it used about 1 year ago. Mine started to act up making some of the car sensors go crazy and the car drives like sh!t. The problem i was having is with the fuel, i drive the car and it feels like it chokes when i give it gas, it got to the point that it gave me the famous "drivetrain malfunction" message and it turned off on me while driving. So i have the shop at the moment removing it and double checking everything.

I installed jb4 a few months ago. Seems ok as long as I leave it in map 1. But when I go to other maps the car starts acting up. I don't have any other mods except a walbro 450 fuel pump. First time I'm hearing of burnt dme. What did you end up doing about it? Did bms cover/admit the issue?

ever since i had it installed on the car I was running MAP2 and it was working fine for about 1 year. but the last month it was acting up that i had to change the High pressure fuel pump and after the new install the car still runs like shit. The shop tells me that it was the JB4 acting up so they removed it.

I just have a stupid question,
is it ok to run the catless DP without any other piggy back/ tune on the car. I dont know if is all in my head but the mechanic tells me that the car is fine but when i drive it i feel nervous like is going to breakdown on me.

If it isn't optimize for Catless dp then car will drink more fuel aka bad gas mileage. Beside that it will have no problem as I ran my car catless dp for 5-6 months.
