Did my plugs a couple weeks ago (36k miles) when I added the JB4. I went one step colder than OEM due to the tune and occasional use of E85. Other than the need for a thin wall socket it was pretty standard. Got to do my brakes next.

Replace the front pads and resurfaced the front rotors today. It wasn't really that hard. There it three bolts in total for each side. Took maybe 2-3 hours. I'll post more photos later.

Testing out the latest change. Not 100% if I want to keep it not. Friend had an extra tow hook licence plate mount so I thought I'd try it out. I have the bumper plugs at home to fill in the holes but didn't want to put them in until I'm like 100% sure I'm down with the look. Thoughts?

PS I'm thinking at car shows, I'll just be able to take my plate off too

I HATE front license plates but I'm not sold on the tow hook mount look either.

That's super cool but here in WA we have to have our plates. I have friends that don't run plates and like one of the got a ticket while parked in Tacoma. He ended up having to put the plate on "real quick", go to the court house and get it dismissed. I'm going to run this for a few days before finalizing if I want to put those bumper plugs in or not.

Yeah exactly. I think that is why people with the retractable plate say that they have it retracted while driving, and displayed while parked to avoid tickets.

It would be cool if you could code it so that when you lock your car it automatically pops out.

Yet to hear of someone getting pulled over for no front plate, then discreetly clicking the button and totally confuse the officer...would be funny though!

I like it. I've not really seen a lot of F10's run this kind of front lip (especially in person). I thought about getting a color matched but I have other CF items on the car so it was good to match it to that; such as the diffuser and door handles.

If you were to rate the noise level on your M5 mufflers from 1-10, 10 being the loudest, and then rate you muffler delete, where would each of them come in at? Including drone, please. That is my biggest concern right now.

M5 Mufflers: 3 (Drone: not really any at all, a little drone at low RPM)

Muffler Delete : 4 (Drone: a little more than M5 mufflers. The most I hear is when the car is still cold and when I accelerate 1.8k to 2.5k RPM. After the car is warmed up, there isn't much drone).

The reason why I have such low numbers is because my old car was a 08 C300 "straight piped". My now fiancée hated that car soo much because of how loud and how much drone it had. We would never take my car on long trips. She didn't notice the M5 mufflers right away ( I think I floored it on a yellow light and she found it). She found out about Muffler Delete right away when I started my car haha. The "significant other" test is a good test

Now that the Springs have settled in. I went ahead and got an alignment. There was a few adjustments that they did to put the car back into specs. Highly recommend (if not required) getting an alignment after any suspension work.

Also got some more photos of the car.

I know but its not worth "No Front Plate Ticket" for me. I'm thinking of car shows I'll just take the plate off. Finished the last plug last night so hopefully go out today and take some proper photos.

Took a few photos while running errands this morning. Waiting for the sun to come out.

One thing I noticed that my car is lower when it driving that it is in park. Someone else was driving on my car and I could see a difference in terms of wheel gap. Hopefully it gets better soon so I can take some proper rollers of my car.

If she's old enough to remember the Firestone debacle you can just tell her the part you need to replace was made by Firestone! Honey, I need to add skirt extensions to prevent the tires from blowing up like the Firestone tires did. See, it's a safety issue!

Had one of these on the R6 back in the day. The solenoid was on the trunk and it looked like a normal fender eliminator kit. Flip the switch....WOT time.
