Headlight condensation

Been noticing this condensation lately in my drivers side headlight for the past week. Did some research, a small amount is supposed to be "normal" but what do you guys think is this normal?? Doesn't look like it to me

You can't really tell in the pic but it's also in the white eyebrow area of the headlight

I've never noticed condensation in my F10's headlights and I've owned the car for over 6 years. I'd remove the bulb and let it dry out and inspect the cover to see if the gasket/o-ring looks cracked. Put it back together and see if the problem comes back.

Drop a couple of Silica packs inside the light it will help keep the condensation down.

I use these when i build a set of retrofitted lights.

Sucks for your friend if he didn't know it was aftermarket

I wouldn't want that in my headlights.
Did you ever check the seals on the covers?

Yup just about brand new. I got a quote from a place to fix it for $350. Does this sound fair to everyone? Includes bumper removal and reinstall, remove old glue, and reseal

I put them inside the covers. so remove the cover and lay it down so it is like a bowl. and i will add a little superglue to the ends of the silica packets then lay them down on the inside, then reinstall the cap. The corner lamp cap is the easiest to get to and it. But i would put 1 on the corner lamp, and 2 on the backside of the projector cover.

Best to run the headlights all the time while driving for a while and the heat should evaporate the condensation to the silica packets.

I say its fair as long they guarantee work they do, because I would hate to drop $350 and next time you wash your car you get in same situation.

Thanks I'm going to try this first since it's the cheapest method. I can get to the covers from the wheel well correct?

Has anyone just put like a super glue sealant around the sealant area in which the seal was broken? Just thinking that since the whole deal isn't broken I could just seal the damaged area and not worry about the headlight not being able to ventilate.
