That would be a tough search.
Aftermarket downpipe with cat is 1 out of 50 transaction.
So, to find someone that is in it and make a video about it, even more rare.

But, from my experience of dealing with many of them.
It sounds a little louder than stock. I would say about 30%-40% louder. Especially on cold start.
But not as loud as catless.

I ran across a YouTube video of a stock exhaust with aftermarket DP awhile back but can't find it. it's pretty common most people run DP's with aftermarket exhaust vs with stock exhaust. doesn't make sense to run a DP with a factory exhaust since most people are looking for a louder sound. that video was a bit louder but nothing to justify upgrading the dp if you're looking for more grunt

I actually run this setup on my 535.

Stock exhaust with 200 CPSI catted RM downpipe (ebay)

Sound increase is minimal. While cruising, I would say same as stock. When driving aggressively turbo whistle is more prevalent. I used to have a stock dp with M-performance exhaust, which caused excessive drone and why I went back to stock mufflers. I have a 6MT, so i think drone is more pronounced because of different (from 8at) cruise RPMs and using larger throttle inputs in higher gears (w/o downshifting). But now with hi-flow catted dp and stock exhaust no issues at all.

I am using MHD stage1 with catted dp and upgraded intercooler. I was planning to run stage 2or 2+, but these mods improved the power delivery and spool enough, that I am sticking to stage1 for now.

Im running catless downpipes on my 335(N54) with the stock exhaust and love everything about it. Just enough more sound over factory and still quiet enough for highway without any droning. (still has secondary cats in exh system)

The 535 Im looking for the same thing. Afraid a catless downpipe with the stock exhaust may be too loud.

I am running a catless dp with stock exhaust. I wish it was slightly louder at times but i don't miss the droning associated with aftermarket dps.

Are you running a defouler to prevent the CEL since you don't have cats?

Negative! I am running a custom tune that takes care of any CELs that may otherwise show up. Bought the ER catless pipe here on the forums and love the power it makes.

I just installed Gutted OEM Down pipe on a meisterschaft full exhaust with Valve(s) delete.
Sounds great no drone at all. Defouler isnt working once i hit highway speed i got CEL.
first week the smell was bad second week the smell was a little better third week way better but i still don't like it we are going to re-torque some bolts and put longer tips on if not better in 30 day i am going back to cat. The power is GREAT with out tune.

Do you guys know if the car runs in limp mode or runs differently when the CEL light is on? I'm wondering if the car adjust because of the no cats?

Stock mufflers with any catless downpipe, car will not drone, slight increase (probably 5-10%) in sound.

M Performance with catless will drone.
M performance with 200 cells downpipe will have less drone, but if you have PS2 turbo, you can reduce drone by adjusting wastegate to 6.5 inHg

I ran my Meisterschafts but kept the stock cat. Loved the sound but wasn't loud enough for me. I did end up going with the VRSF catless dp and oh boy! I love the raspiness of the exhaust now. But everyone's idea of whats louder to them or sounds good will always be subjective

Yes idd catless sounds great , problem is its illegal here .So id have to mount it on and off at every yearly check we get in the Netherlands. Thus either this or stuck with a catted dp .I could match the dp to the exhaust from the same brand i suppose but i dont think armytrix makes also catted dp's? In the past i drove a 353 cabrio with dual m performance mufflers only and everything else stock , now i got a full armytrix with quad endpipes and still dont get the same sound loudness (or burbles) even though its both cars a n55 engine...Even removed all the insulation from the inside surface of the hood to "hear more" but all i got is the turbo hissing sound a bit louder only...Also plenty droning on low rpms(which i dont find bad btw)...Idk maybe it has to do with the "executive line" kinda feeling a limousine is supposed to have in contrast with the sportive loudness of a roadster chassis? Questions questions ..
