Absolutely worth it. Works much better in ISO mode. Just cut the diode, upgrade the firmware and put in the default settings, then tune from there.

also once I cut the diode can I use anything but the iso?

No, the defaults for ISO mode are different:

If you have the newer board the diode location is slightly different, but make the changes as suggested for PID and Auto Boost Redux.

the reason I ask about this update is because my jb4 seems to only have map 1 that works.
all other maps seem to be the same as stock.

map 1 is strong all the way through. getting boost instantly and up to 15psi.

map 2 seems to just give me higher boost at wot above 3500rpms.
but it boosts slower at low rpms compared to map 1, but will reach 17/18psi above 5000k but the low rpms are the same as map 0,4 and 5

I've updated the latest hex file besides the iOS version.

any ideas?

Post a log. If it is targeting lower boost than potential there is likely a good reason for it. Have you tried running Map 5?

I found my answer on the f30 page..
I guess it's the way it was designed.
map 1 has pre spool for quicker boost at lower throttle.
I wish map 2 had the pre spool.
