Best friend will be coming up for one of our others friend's wedding on the 3rd.
But before that we will go to the gun range and then onto a night of drunken debauchery.

Ha, they're all rentals, not that baller but $1-$1.5mm for luxury condos here isn't out of the norm and I rip through that section every single day coming home from work so I know exactly what you're talking about.

However running up that section is a massive bitch.

running? Try riding a bike up that section!

during spring and fall, I commute by bike to DC, and I go through this section on bike, fun in the AM going downhill, but an extra 10 minute on the way back b/c of that hill. And by the time I'm past Veitch, I'm so exhausted from the climb, I can barely get myself home for the final mile.

Ha yeah I'm not much of a biker, I usually just run down that trail in the mornings and down to Roosevelt Island and back.

Not sure what I'm doing this weekend, but here's what I'm hoping to do (at least make a dent in it, anyways):

1. Replace engine and trans mount
2. Change diff fluid
3. Paint breakfast nook and kitchen (well...most of it....still need to replace the counter and put in a tile backsplash)
4. Maybe replace pedestal sink in powder room
5. Replace toilet in powder room
6. Paint powder room
7. Install vinyl plank floor in 2nd bathroom (not sure if I'll actually put leveling compound over existing vinyl tile pattern....in case I don't like the plank flooring)
8. Replace quarter round in 2nd bathroom
9. Refinish semi-new vanity for master bath
10. Run 2 new junction boxes in master bath for lighting (currently have 1 in the center for a large contractor fixture)
11. Remove large contractor mirror (still debating this one)
12. Install vinyl plank flooring in master bath (same story re: leveling compound)
13. Replace vanity & install replace drain pipes
14. Replace baseboard and quarter round in master bath
15. Finish painting baseboard and doors in rest of townhouse

Somewhere in there should be 'relax' and 'get my @$$ back to the gym'

Your gonna love it! I worked on the exterior cladding of Cosmo East and West Towers. When construction was complete and it opened they actually comp'd me a terrace suite overlooking the fountain on the 52nd floor. Plus you will have the fireworks! Enjoy!
