Stock Rims & Suspension

Hey guys,

Just wondering what if I put on 20' rims, will the ride be as smooth as the stock suspensions when the wheels are 17'?

Ride quality when lowered, will it be as smooth as stock?

What are the most comfy suspension when I lower the car?

BTW, its a 520d for the Asia market.

Thanks!

I'd suppose it's difficult to get a smooth of a ride lowered on 20" as on 17".

Even with kw3 or other coils out there?

Would 19" be a more similar smooth ride to original stocks?

Thx guys

Riding on stock springs with 17's is like sleeping on a memory foam bed with 50+ extra layers. Riding on 20's lowered is comfortable, just not as comfortable as 17's. however 20's and lowering do improve the handling and steering feel, making it more sporty. And also, 20"s look perfect with F10/F07.

Do I need spacers or flare the fenders to fit the 20s? I have not asked the guys at the shop about this yet...

With the right offset and width, you don't need spacers of fender work.

try and stay away from spacers, there are many rims with right offset on the market now.
