Considering RFT to Normal tires. Please Advise
So my 2013 535i M-sport has the M-sports suspension and I am considering replacing the tires from the stock Dunlop RFT to normal tires. For everyday driving I am wondering if it will provide more of a softer cushioned ride?
Can anyone give me some advise? For those of you who have done this with your F10 5-series, please tell me your personal feelings and experience of what you think are the pros and cons. Thanks, your advise is much appreciated.

I replaced the Dunlops on my 2011 535i sport pkg with Bridgestone Potenza re760 and couldn't be happier. Ride quality vastly improved. Good tire wear so far. I only got 18k out of the Dunlop set, hoping to get 25k plus from these. Hope this helps.

Put winter non-RFTs on in Nov and I just put the RFTs back on. Bought the mini spare and jack. No complaints. I clearly didn't get the exact feel since they were winters, but I'm seriously comtemplating going to summer non-RFTs once the all seasons that came on the car wear out.
Bottom line: For me, the jury is still out. |

No downside IMO.
Better ride, handling and selection of non-RF tires The only "downside" is the addition of a spare/jack in the trunk

Will NON RFT alter any feeling of the car pulling? Right now my car drives pretty straight down the road, and I am just afraid that it will drift more to the side since the side walls aren't are supportive like RFT are.

I had bridgestone potenza non rfts and they where great. Now they're replaced with GY eagle f1 asymetric 2 non rft's and i hate them. Although they are much more comfortable than the potenza's, their soft sidewalls have turned my f11 into a boat. If you go for non rft, skip the goodyears. I have 19 inches. The GY's could be great for retaining comfort on 21 inchers....
