I went with ACS and so far it's been great; it's been about 3 years since I installed them. The drop was moderate and the handling is exponentially better than stock. I would have gone coils if I drove my car more, but it's typically just a wknd ride.

I'm on H&R Sports.

The drop is very even and clean without being slammed. The ride is stiffer than stock but to me it feels like how an M-sport car should have been from the factory. Sporty and quick reacting but still very comfortable. PS- It's my daily driver and I'm using the original dynamic struts with 113k miles on them with no problem

I have the same HR Sport springs. They offer good balance between usability for a daily driver and looks. If you are taking your car to a car wash, this is the lowest you can go, any lower and you would not be able to go to car wash, if you have front lip, you would be scraping it all the time... I like stiffer ride on these springs and I agree that is how the car should have come from the factory

ACS will be your mild drop and H&R will be your more aggressive drop. just to make a note since it's been noted here but sometimes if you go with a lowering spring replacement there's been quite a few members who have reported their shocks leaking from immediately after install, 2 weeks, 1 month, 1 year and some reported not having any issues. just an FYI. Don't believe me do some searching and you find them. BTW, you should post this in the correct section...GL!

Wondering if you decided anything about the springs yet? I'm planning to do the same and thinking of getting a set of ACS. The drop seem to be pretty good for my taste and the comfort close to the stock from what I've heard?!?

Here's how the front sits with ACS.

Hey Paul, this drop looks pretty good with those Eibachs. Do you mind sending me exact details of you springs-part# front and rear(if you have them) and also the specs of you car as well. Part number of the entire set will be helpful too. As I said I like the drop, but I hear different feedback from other f10 owners who have used the pro kit for lowering. A lot of them are saying the drop is barely noticeable and I believe this has something to do with the car been fitted originally with m-sport suspension or not?!?

You are correct. I have ACS and my right rear shock was leaking. Warranty covered it, but I haven't had issues since. Btw the ACS rides beautifully. I'll keep em till it's time to upgrade to coilovers

M Sport is slightly lower than regular line. My car was regular line, drop was close 1" all around. To me it has perfect look, not slam nor suv look. I still have box somewhere, I will try to find it, post pic here.

Hey I have a 2013 535 X-drive and i installed the H&R springs over 1.5 years ago and i love it,nice drop to the car, looks way better than stock height.

On all my previous cars i always installed H&R, really good quality, the ride is good and i always recommend them.

My vote is for H&R springs.

Went with Dinan myself since I had a preference for ground clearance. It's an even milder drop than the ACS and is still relatively soft but is apparently 30% stiffer than the OEM springs. Mine is M-sport for reference.

Those that have lowered... did you have an alignment done after lowering? The alignment concerns me since my car tracks perfectly with almost perfect tire wear. Of course that was with the square set up and a decent rotation schedule, now staggered on 351's with PS4's.
