hey guys I have a 2011 535 n55 with the type A tmap sensor, the issue is the jb+ specifically for the n55 has the type b plug.

I've asked around online and was told to order the jb+ for an n54 I just was wondering if the info I received was correct and it wouldn't harm my car

I just dont understand why there isn't an n55 type a jb+ any help would greatly be appreciated, or if anyone has a relatively cheap jb2 or jb4 with type a for sale let me know

did you order the wrong JB? you have the option of either type A or type B unless you bought it used and didn't realized it until afterwards?

no I haven't ordered any jb because I was interested in the jb+ which they only offer in type b specifically for the n55 motor

the jb+ type a is ment for the n54 so I'm kinda stuck

There's 2 types for the N55

Type A

Type B

There are diagrams that indicates which one is yours. If you go to site sponsor XPH you can find it there. You will need to pop your hood and verify which harness yours looks like

thanks for all your help I think I need to make myself more clear on how I word this.

i have a type A harness I know that much, however with the JB+ SPECIFICALLY " not any of the other jb tunes I know those ones I would have the option of just choosing which connector. I just want a quick plug and play tune "
it only offers an option for type b harness for the n55 motor

now this is where it gets tricky the JB+ for the n54 has the type a connector

so my question is can I use a n54 jb+ on my n55 535 safely

Jb+ is only offered with harness type B

Please do not use the N54 JB+ on your car, its not safe.
