Steering shaft leaking oil ?

Was doing my tensioner today, and noticed the joint on the steering shaft has some grease stains. Is this something I should be worried about ? I guess I'm not really sure where that grease is coming from. Is it supposed to packed inside a boot of some sort like a cv joing ? Anything I should do to check for excessive play and the like ?

Are you sure that wasn't sprayed on by a tech as lubricant (as opposed to leaking out)?

That is just a ujoint sweating internal needle bearing grease. No worries.

Wipe it off if it bothers you.
