I'm interested in doing a m5 front end conversion to a 535i msport. Are there any other parts other than fenders, bumper, and grills that are needed? I also noticed that the aftermarket kids don't have the wide fenders like oem. I'm trying to make a fake m5 I just love the look of the wider fenders.

So you want to make a fake M5? Bing bing bing bong bong bong you are by the first to say this my friend and I've seen this done numerous times but for other reasons

It will take much more than fenders and a bumper to accomplish this.

The plastic bits and pieces under the car will all need to be replaced.

M sport outfit is well made for a 5er, but the M5 outfit will be, I think, quite a lot to take for a non-M car. Aside for those modifying work and money consuming, you might get yourself in an embarrassing situation when another super car on road challenges you.

Can anyone recommend carbon fiber brands/ kits?
My local dealer wants 3700 plus 1000 for labor to install the below

Front lip
Black kidney grills. (Just black)
Back spoiler
Mirror caps

BMW site does not have side skirts and the rear diffuser is just black not carbon

Trying to avoid the dealer price gauge.
Afraid of mismatched carbon pieces if I don't get a complete kit from the same brand.

Looking for top quality as this is my dream car and plan to keep her around.

so you don't mind replica or are you looking for authentic? I can only think of a handful of guys who went authentic and 90% of us went replica on the F10 forum. for me I went replica just because I couldn't justify spending $1000's of dollars on pieces that could possibly break. So for side skirt extensions I went with the 3D style ordered from here

perfectly flush...no gaps!


for the back spoiler to keep the 3d theme so I went with a 3D style spoiler









for the mirror I went with some cheap ebay carbon fiber caps which to me look great!







for the kidney grills I would just recommend some gloss double slat grills

Do all of your pieces match; as far as the patterns in the carbon fiber?

I'm not opposed to saving $$.
Just concerned about the abuse from the sun, will it last as long as the expensive options. Concerned if I piece meal all the pieces from different sources they will not match and look off

Thanks for the comment as far as the pieces matching I would say yes. the carbon fiber weave pattern is pretty consistent even tho I ordered these components from different sellers. I do add some protection like Chemical Guy's Jetseal to protect it from future discoloring or fading or yellowing. so far it looks brand new to this day.
