Changing interior lights to led

Someone said this will void warranty is it true?! =/

I have never heard of a warranty being voided from changing lights unless you have to permanently modify the housing or socket. even then it will only void that parts warranty not the whole car.

I swapped all mine for LEDs and dealer hasn't said a peep

Having issue taking off the front dome light cover yikes.... How did yall do it? Tools used???

Good question. Remove with care.

Use quality LEDs. I installed the BMW LED Kit, Part# 63122212788. I wanted consistency in hue.

Just replaced mine with LEDs. Huge pain getting the front and rear dome lights out of th3 headliner.

Honestly the dealership can void your warranty for almost anything and everything. But most dealerships won't void your warranty for led unless those led cause some kind of wiring issues.
