M sport steering wheel / wheels on my 15" 528i xdrive input

Hey everyone,

Hope all is well. Just had a question to ask. I have a 2015 528i xdrive that I would love to make it a full m package conversion. For the steering wheel can any m sport steering wheel work or does it have to be a particular model. Sorry new into the bmw scene.

Thank you!

Check realoem.com for steering wheel P/N. IIRC, only 5/6/7 series wheels will fit on our cars. Steering wheel spline count is different for 2/3/4 series

This is the one you will need. It will need to get programmed to the car. I am not sure the paddles will function without an added module.

I replaced the stock wheel sans paddles with a sport wheel w/paddles. The paddles worked as soon as I plugged in the wheel. The coding was required to make them work in sport mode.
