Silvers Coilovers on X Drive 550 M sport

At last... bought these from MAP performance in Minnesota. They are awesome.

Note to people buying these, I had them provide the fronts 3" longer than the original set. The front tire was super tucked, even with everything at max height. With the longer shock, there is still plenty of room to drop, but it's all right at the middle of the setpoint now.

They ride great. I'm a 40+ yr old and was really nervous it would be too harsh. It actually feels quite smooth.

Nice but I still see a considerable amount of wheel gap for coilovers especially in the rear. Any more pictures?

I'm in MN, so wheel gap is a necessity for a daily driver...

Is there a reason no one is talking about this brand when it comes to xDrive coilovers? I emailed them and they said the kit covers the f10 xdrive. I'll definitely be getting these sometime next year. I really didn't want to be on lowering springs

that's because this F10 generation has come and gone as most members have moved on with their next car or current xdrive owners already have aftermarket springs or coilovers. i'm wondering how much these coilovers went for?

Assuming these are the NEOMAX coilovers, most places sell them for 1.1k or so. Not bad considering your other options are KWv3's...

OP: How did you go about getting the 3" longer fronts?

Ohlins road and track are usually amazing and if n factory has a kit for f10 they usually are best bang for buck

Ohlins doesn't make them for the 5 series at all unfortunately.

I have a 535ix on CKS suspension. I'm sure they have a set that would fit on a 550ix. If you're interested please hit up their Facebook page and said Long sent you. He'll get you some good pricing on them.

At this point might as well just go KW... The price is not much different.
