Sun Visor Warning Decal Removal

Ok went for it. Figured it's a $250 gamble to buy new ones. I tried a few things and while this is a tutorial of sorts. I'd say there are probably better ways, this is just what I did.

I tried hair dryer, did nothing. Tried to soak and peel, fell apart. Then just scrubbed with cotton balls, paper towels, and a wash cloth. It worked... as well as you can see. The cloth was very strong and held up perfectly.

I'd do it again, its worth it for me, and in the car with tinted windows. I can't see it at all. Smell is none (I hate goof off smell), I left them sitting for an hour to dry out. 8/10 because its not perfect as you can see. If I maybe scrubbed harder I might have gotten it to 9/10 but I was worried it would start to mess up the visors and this is close enough for me.

Garage List
Wonder if a heat gun would help loosen the glue to peel it off fairly slow.

I'd be too afraid to try a head gun as the material seems to have some sort of plastic in it.

I updated the top from a question to a "tutorial". I say it in quotes b/c I didn't feel like I knocked it out of the park, nor am I sure this is the best way. Its just what I did and my results. All other ways I saw online were for those older BMW sun visors. With these cloth ones its like the decal is almost melted into the fabric.

I'd recommend it for Americans over buying the euro versions ($250). It's better than the decals and very hard to see in the car.
