Installed a used EPS, dont work F11 2011

Hi,

My 1st posting in this forum. My originally EPS started to sound lie a dying pig.

So I bought a used with all the numbers correct, a new one is terrible expensive, the used was nearly new and fairly priced.

I had it installed by a workshop, but the could not get it to work. I left my car to a BMW workshop and they could not pair the car and the EPS, they said that I must buy an "empty" EPS.

I looked at in my E-sys (Im not good with it) and I did not find the CAFD in EPS-list.

Is it possible to fix or is it a hopeless case? Im getting very strong handling the car in a parking house

Electronic Power Steering I'm assuming.....
