Max had no business sticking his nose there.
Having said that, Vettel could still avoid that unnecessary contact by taking a wider line.

Nico is magnanimous and classy? Please. He is far from it.
I really think he would kill his teammate Hamilton if he could get away with it in order to win the title.

His celebrations always seem a bit extreme when he wins races like this one. He wasn't exactly challenged. A win is a win, but don't go thinking you outdrove anyone. He had the superior car and at no point was his victory in doubt.

Getting that first podium would have been nice. Maybe at Monza. He's got the speed.

Doubt he could have raced for the win, but certainly if he'd gotten close to Rosberg, Rosberg would have cocked up and made an error.

Still a great result for Lewis and a very interesting race. How Verstappen didn't kill someone today was a miracle!!

Definitely an exciting start to the race for the spectators. I really think the turn 1 incident falls on Max's hands. Yes, VET turned into RAI, but VET didn't see (or know) there was a third car on the inside. VET made the turn assuming RAI was able to react to that, but at that point RAI was just a sitting duck sandwiched b/t VET and VES and this caused a chain reaction that basically ruined the race for all three of them. I don't see how VES could defend his driving because the line he took made no sense at all. Where was he planning to go? Straight ahead?

We may have to start calling him Maxdonaldo. Not sure if he has the maturity to drive more professionally yet. Every driver gets highly stressed and can make mistakes, but Ves has been driving too aggressively in quire a number of races this season.

I still remember the early days of Vettel's career. When Martin Whitmarsh proclaimed him the "Crash Kid". Max will mature, as did Vettel who got a early start at a young age.

His radio traffic........."they turned in on me and I had no where to go" screams lack of experience. He is good. In fact damn good, but he needs to learn patience. Same happened with VET and HAM back in the day. Hopefully no one gets hurt the next time he gets impatient.

What has he actually won?

When has he won a race when someone (Lewis) was all over his ass?

How many times has his steering failed somehow and he's pushed another driver off track?

He is a good journeyman driver who's ability is being shined by the best car. If it wasn't for Hamilton;s run of bad luck at the start of the season, Rosberg would be 40+ points behind.

Poor Kimi, the only thing I was looking forward to in this race was watching him perhaps fight for a second place finish and his race is immediately gutted by Max on his right and Seb on his left. There's no way Max is fitting through that 1st corner and Seb turned right into Kimi.

I don't see anybody talking about it really, but what has happened to Vettel? He seems so far off the game now.

So much Nico hate. He is a good driver. He doesn't behave like a teenager. He doesn't throw temper tantrums like #blessed does. Is Hamilton probably the better driver? Sure. That doesn't mean that people need to constantly shit on Nico.

Only the best car wins !
Every F1 driver can drive ,that's why they are F1 drivers ...
Throuw a F3 driver in a F1 Merc , and probably he wins Francorchamps as well !

Throuw Nico or Ham in the slowest F1 car , and where would they end ?

LOL. Rosberg acted like a little entitled brat the last two seasons while losing. He couldn't have been anymore salty during all the post race interviews. Oh lets not forget him winging a hat at Lewis before podium.

LOL!!

#blessed #wintogetherlosetogether

HAM FTW!

Nico is a good driver, yes, but I think his fortune is a product from his time at Mercedes. I guess the same be said for Lewis but, to me, he's our driving everyone... including Nico. I just don't like how sour he is when he doesn't win.

Pushing people off track and purposefully blocking Lewis.

I'm ready for Hamilton to be a 4 time champion. #teamLH
