jb4 iso

so I cut the diode and updated to iso on my 2012 535i. I changed the settings as specified and my car is running like shit. boost is inconsistent running rich and wg is all over the place.
was running great before I updated to get the gas pedal mapping.
can I return to the previous firmware seeing I already cut the diode?

Can you take a picture of your jb4 board and post it here? Have you tried to load the firmware again and make sure it "successfully updated"?

Ideally, you can revert the board to original but will need to solder the one diode leg back on. Just be very very careful when soldering.

soldered the diode back on tonight and switch back to Integrated firmware from ISO and my car runs so much better..
the power is smoother and feels more consistent.
should I still do a def?

What were some of the things N54 had you do to smooth out the power? I just installed a JB4 with ISO and I'm getting the inconsistent delivery. Not sure if it's with the Gas Pedal Mapping or the change in duty cycle.

everyone is different. I dont have your logs and dont know how to guide you.
they had me change a few things but that was based off my log I provided.
I wish I could help you but I dont wanna tell you what numbers I changed and have them mess you up.
my best advice is post a log.
I changed settings based on my log and it did help smooth things out but i did end up soldering my diode back on and downloaded n55 pwg hex 11.
i run map 1.
I love the spree spool with the wastegate position.
I get great low rpm boost in sport mode for great throttle response in city driving..

if you dont have a turbo upgrade and dont want to continue playing with settings I suggest you go away from iso and back to integrated firmware.

I see. That's a good recommendation from what I'm experiencing with ISO. Similar to your story. How easy was it to solder back?

depends on where you cut it and if you have any of the wire long enough to solder it.
bms will solder it for you if want to send it to them. or go to a local computer repair shop they can do it quick
