Added on one of the cheapy dials for the idrive... meh. Quality is loooowwww and it feels really cheap. But I like the larger dial for sure. Might keep an eye out for a better/higher quality version in the future. This one most likely going back to Bezos' Emporium.

Second big job(s) for the day: New wipers! Had to find a video showing how, as there is a little trick to getting them upright (TWSS).

Whilst there, I centered the accessory belt a bit better on the tensioner. I've been meaning to do that since I did the OFHG last month.

Finally, confirmed that the black handle trim I bought from Bezos truly does not fit. Bummed, as it would have been nice. I'll try some DIY vinyl wrap and see if I can get that to look clean.

That is a cool trick. I use it each time I apply a window coating (Aquapel to be precise). IIRC, it's something like start car, turn off with the stop-start button (but don't press a second time), then pull up on the wiper stalk until the wipers move up and stay there.

I really like how easy it is to pop on the blades... very unexpected!
Here is the whole process:

Have been looking for them too. Are they the replacement of the dials or do they just fit on the existing dial? Also regardning the quality issue - is it about the fitment or the material used for the product?

The center portion of the existing dial pops up with a pick or screwdriver, then the new ring slides over the old ring. The new top then gets snapped on in place. The old top is discarded or put in storage. Very easy install.

I just didn't like the feel of it. The cheapest, thinnest plastic was used and didn't feel nice to the touch at all IMO. Looks were fine.

This is the specific one I bought and returned: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07T2XVKCV

I added a set of marketing roundels. Definitely increases the horsepower and makes the trips to Costco quicker!

Installed custom wrapped heated alcantara steering wheel! Something I’ve wanted to do since I bought the car almost 5 years ago. I need to get a different control module to enable the heating function, but for now it looks and feels amazing.
