Upper Control Arm Part Help
Hi,
I was starting the install of ACS springs to my 2015 535i xDrive and I just couldn't get the upper control arm off of the knuckle pin by myself, so I went to put it back together. I pulled a torque from the forum @ 122 ft/lbs. Well that snapped the bolt. Probably because it is a one time use bolt, or that torque is wrong. Either way I need a part # and I can't seem to find it anywhere. Has anyone replaced that bolt? Do you have a part number? And is that torque correct? Any help would be appreciated. Also - I do have the m-package, but from what I've read, because it is an xDrive it is not any different than the non-m-package. Thanks |

I cant find the correct torque now, but 122 ft lb is way too much.
The bolt is a M10x1.5 10.9 grade with Torx head, I expect the torque spec to be around 50 ft lb. |
