Rear camera not working

2014 535i; Backup camera not working. I do see the radar graphics on the screen but no camera image. Is there anything that I can try before I buy a replacement camera or take it to the shop? Is there any idrive setting that might have turned the camera off? Is there a reset for the camera? Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Is the camera obscured? Chicago road salt will block the image.

I don't see any dirt or obstruction on the camera. When in reverse, the screen is black except for the radar markers which seems to be working OK.

Well, the lines are form the steering angle itself, so the image I believe is a bad camera.
