Hey guys, so i got a full parts list from my dealer to do a LCI M sport steering wheel retrofit to my LCI F10 535i.. I got the steering wheel, buttons, airbag, etc.
My car is a 2014 535i LCI with the base steering wheel. From what i know it will be a direct bolt on, with no coding and no wiring work? Is this true? I have no heated steering option, paddles, etc. Same goes for the new M sport steering wheel. So no options. IMG_4368 by 5soko, on Flickr

There's a company on eBay that makes custom steering wheels. They are saying that since I don't use paddle shifters already that the one's on they're steering wheels work work and can't be codes because of the different gear boxes between base and MSport models. Is this true? Or is an OEM wheel with paddles shifters going to work regardless?
