Handheld code scanner recommendations

Wanted to ask if anyone can recommend a handheld code scanner for the F10 models? I’ve seen a couple online but wanted input for the group, maybe ones better then another.
Wife was asking “...what the hell do you want for Xmas?!!!”

I just bought the Schwaben Professional scanner and have to say it's pretty friggin good..little scared to mess with it too much as i don't wanna brick my car
