Rear diff oil seal oil leak
Hi chaps anyone had a rear diff sea oil leak
Who did you use to get it replace and how much did it cost roughly Mine was picked up during my mot vehicle health check Been quoted £550 by the dealer Thanks Sp

It's a common issue. Mine had leaks from both output seals and had a similar quote from my local dealer.
Take it to a good indie, they'll sort it for around half that price. The 2 seals (bought genuine BMW) are about £50 IIRC. It's quite an involved job as the diff needs to be dropped. |

Hello, you didn't mention from side shaft seal or input shaft seal?
Side ones are pretty straight forward to be done, but the one on the input shaft is a bit tricky one. |
