Bmw exhaust diameter?

Looking to possibly do a e cut out on my 2016 bmw 528i wanted to know what the diameter of the exhaust was so I could find the proper size.

60mm is the exact diameter, which is roughly 2.36 inches as stated by doubles.

You'd would have to weld it in with reducers (or reduce the pipe yourself) to adapt this to your exhaust and you're good to go. If you don't have access to a welder, go to a muffler shop for them to do it. Since it's not an exact fit you CAN ghetto rig it with u-bolts or band clamps but you'll end up with a contraption with 4 clamps on it and good luck all that 1- not leaking, or 2- surviving NJ winters.

So, go to a muffler shop on this one lol

He COULD grind a slit on two sides and then just clamp it down with 1 clamp. But that's a lot of angle grinder work, dunno if he has one.
