I think your car will look MUCH better with 20's on it (and it will surely ride much better). Lots of M5 guys go to 21's and I think that's about the limit for this car, but personally I think 20's are the sweet spot. Lots of good tire choices too.
Got my 20s, just need paint and tires

These are stock M5 wheels, style 343m, 20x9" 32mm and 20x10" 34mm

https://www.alloywheelsdirect.net/bm...43m_wheel_3038

For F10s they are a very good option as their width and offset allows for a fairly aggressive fitment, they are forged meaning they are lightweight and strong as well.

Due to their width running 255/35r20 and 285/30r20 is a common fitment. The stock M5 sizes are 10mm wider each front and rear but for most people the 295s at the rear will rub

245/35 and 275/30

I mistakenly chose a tire with rim protector, and since the tire was stretched a bit, it looked kinda weird + it stuck out a little more than what I think a tire without the protector would do. If that makes sense.

But in theory it sits fairly flush with the ride height that I have. Would obviously go further in if I lowered it more.

For the next summer. 9,5x20 et37 and 11x20 et37. Three other needs a little work. Front wheels I gotta straighten and one rear wheel a friend is gonna weld small crack.

11” et37 is going to be aggressive. What tire are you planning to use?

I had 10,5 et30 last summer, so should fit nicely. With 275/30R20 tire.

Ah ok, with a stretched tire you might be ok. Be sure to post some pics!

I was washing my car at work and was tempted to test fit them. I will be lowering it another 1-1,5cm for summer.

Front is with 17mm spacer, rear 5mm. Seems to fit nicely but gotta check it better once lowered.

So rear is 20x11 ET37 + 5mm spacer? 11" wheel effectively ET32, the wheel might be touching the fender if the tire doesn't! Good luck!

Yeah, I will test it more once it's time for summer tires. I remember wrong, it was 10,5 et30 last summer and with 11" it's more stretch so it has little more room.

F10 M5 style 343m. Don't get the M6 ones, they are quite different!

Are those 168m wheels from an E53? 20x9.5 45mm and 20x10.5 30mm? Do you have a spacer at the front? Also what sized tyres are you running?

Your fronts might need a spacer to clear the suspension upright. Your rears are going to poke by as much as 20mm unless you go stancenation with negative camber and/or super stretched tires.
