Lightbulb 2014 BMW 550i wheel setup

i bought my first dream bmw 2014 550i for 37k miles on it , it comes with run flat 245/35R20 front & 275/30R20 Rear , even though the cornering and dynamics is awesome but the ride quality is so bad and rough. Am planning to go for staggered setup of 245/40R20 Front & 275/35R20 Rear with firestone indy 500.

since i don't want to invest on 19 inch wheels again which would be apt but at the same time i need to improve the ride quality too. scared of going to 245/35R20 Front & 275/30R20 Rear(OEM) with normal tyres with same spec thinking i might not feel diff since the side wall is thin, just to increase more comfort i wanna go with little thicker wall ... you suggestions please ,

Also if i use the thicker wall will it rub the fender in front and is there a stability issues ?

i should not be talking abt milage with 550, but unable to resist am getting 16mpg with current R20 setup of run flat tyres.

thanks guys

245/45/20 and 275/40/20 are too tall. You can do 245/40/20 and 275/35/20 though.

the OEM setup is 19' inch , running 20 " will degrade my steering components in over time or is it fine for powerful car like F10? am feeling bit heavy in steering for 20 inch with runflat.

Get forged wheels. They are at least 8lbs lighter each corner. Makes a big difference in handling and steering feel.

I got vsforged wheels style VS08 from getyourwheels.com. $600 each in June 2020. No problem on quality.

I got Fast FC04 rotary forged. Less money than a fully forged wheel with most of the benefits.
