Hi,

My F10 which has N47 2.0 diesel Engine has a squeaking sound. In a fairness its been there for a good few months. At startup is non-existent, when the engine warms up it sounds like its the fan belt and at every rotation is squeaks a little, once the engine is full warm then its just a permeant squeak. You cannot hear it from inside the car only when you open the door and more so when you open the bonnet. I will try get a video of it tomorrow in the, but is it something major in particular early signs of the n47 timing chain issue?
