zentanker N54Yankee In the end it is not about the arrow it is about the indian. There is no magic bullet. There is no stopping power when it comes to handguns. Accuracy is more important that what bullet you are using. The Black Talon is ancient bullet tech by todays standards. The current Winchester Ranger T with the STX bullet replaced the old Talon years ago. The advancement in bullet tech is why everyone, like the FBI, is going back to 9mm. I will take accuracy over speed. It is all about delivering fast effective hit no matter what bullet you are using. Pretty much any of the modern hollow points in any caliber 9mm and above will be effective if you do your part. Last edited by rellascout; 02-23-2019 at 10:34 AM.. |

I have a couple of old pistols - the '03 Colt hammerless and a '07 Savage. Both are .32, family hand-me-downs, ain't worth nothing but to me, but they still shoot well.

One of my other oldies but goodies is a 1963-1964 BHP with the internal extractor. It is completely stock. Have not even removed the magazine disconnect. Everything still gets shot. Last edited by rellascout; 02-23-2019 at 01:57 PM.. |

Is the reflex sight really an improvement at a shotgun? Just asking...

I have ghost rings on my 870 and like it for accuracy particularly for longer range slugs.

I think so... especially since I shoot a lot of slugs with my M4.

I haven't enough experience with shotguns to judge this, therefore my question. For me those guns were more like "spreading the joy to the suckers" so to speak

Perhaps this is an opportune moment to mention my range shells of choice? Fiocchi Match grade 3G+JM slugs in particular are really sweet flyers. Easy to put these slugs on target even at 100yds with my modded M4. Jerry Miculek knows what he's doing.

Looking to replace this old worn out tactical fanny pack. I've searched many websites and googled it I cannot find one that looks just like it the only identifying tag On it is an American flag and a tag that says L for large

Nice, my original S.G. M1 carbine is one of my favorite guns to shoot. It’s cool owning a little piece of history.

I also agree wit Rob "Cyborg" Leatham. Always shoot as fast as you can shoot accurately. The problem is that most people shoot too fast. For my money "The Test" is a good tool to judge where you are. If you can shoot "The Test" cold no warm up in under 10 seconds clean you are pretty good with a pistol IMHO. |
