Someone can chime in if I'm wrong.. But I believe for an XDrive it is split:

Front: 245
Rear: 285

You can find threads here that have spoken about this subject if you want to clarify.

I have the i not the 4 wheel I did some browsing through the threads and to the best of my knowledge the 35mm offset will work depending on the tire and I think the described tires inhave should provide the clearances I need but please correct me if I'm wrong I don't want to purchase these wheels and have them not fit

I think you want 245/40 on front and 275/35 on rear. I am pretty sure that is factory staggered set up for 5 series. Squared set up is 245/40 all the way around.

Your original post is a little confusing. You said you want a square set up, but you also say 255/275. That's a staggered set up.

All your rims are the same width, that does not make it a square set up if there are staggered tires on those rims. If you want to go with 255 up front, go with 285 in the rear.

Or factory: Front - 245 Rear - 275
