Kind of unfortunate that the EU homelink won't work with the NA homelink, as these mirrors seem to be dirt cheap in the EU salvage yard scene.

Not sure how swappable the internals are but you could get one from EU and one locally (doesn't matter which series you get this from) and attempt a transplant if you really want full frameless.

I just did a transplant of an e93 mirror (US) into my e46 vert (US) and had to swap over the 315MHz remote receiver, so there are differences even within the US it seems (guess im talking really old tech). And I did it for the homelink really and this mirror will help in completing the EC side mirrors retrofit on my car that i'm attempting.

It is from a G series. You will need to trim it very slightly on one end and it will slide right in. Tap power from the cigarette outlet next to it. Tap ambient light from your arm rest light (optional). You will loose connectivity to your head unit with dual USB-C. I think single port with data will only work in NBT EVO.

This is just a power port right? Any reason you didn't go with the powered single USB-C from g series that connects to your head unit?

Also, regarding your rear view mirror retrofit, do you Mind sharing what your original mirror looked like? Was it the one that twists on? And if so, we're you easily able to swap the stock with the new gxx mirror or any custom work was required?

Did a few things recently with my 520D,

Overkill on a 520d but I got an amazing deal for Michelin Pilot Sport 4S... so got them installed, no more run-flats. Looking Thicc, no chance of damaging rims now.

Fronts
245/40 to 255/40
Rear
275/35 to 275/40

Also replaced my Inner and outer tie rods due to knocking when the weather went over 35c

and finally, the most annoying thing I did was replace the coolant inlet flange... which cracked and leaked everywhere. Had to remove the intake manifold to get to the bolts. Not fun.

You've got over a 2% difference between front and rear.
