M5/M6 Mufflers on 535i?
Hi everyone, this is my first post but I've been lurking on here for a while. 6 months into my new (to me) 2015 535i, and I'm contemplating upgrading the mufflers.
After doing some research, I'm leaning towards either M5 or M6 mufflers to stay within my budget, and to not have an extremely loud setup. I like how they both sound. I've seen videos of the M5 mufflers, and I like how they make burbles, but I'm not sure whether the M6 mufflers would do the same? Also, what's a good price for their installation, and how much more should it be to install the M6 mufflers given their extra steps for making them fit (modified hangers, etc.)? Thanks! |

Welcome! I also had M5 mufflers on my old 535i.
I paid $150-200 at a muffler shop for them to install the mufflers. I did wire the valves open to get more volume out of the M5 mufflers as 535i do not have a vacuum line to control it. |
