My wife and son bought me the Bimmertech CarPlay MMI, which is an upgrade to the Bimmertech Rear View Camera Retrofit MMI that they bought me for Father's Day 2021.

I just did the install and removed the MMI, harness and wires for the Rear View Camera. Anyone interested in picking this up and getting a rear camera for their older BMW? This one was flawless in operation and is in excellent shape. I reused the cables from the MMI to the display, so that cable is brand new.

Price for the complete kit from Bimmertech is ≈ $600.
They sell the camera only for $300...others seem to have it for a lot less, but I can't speak to the quality of the camera or kit.

Can anyone make use of this? I'd rather not have it sitting in the garage ~ and I hate the idea of throwing it out. If someone can use it, make an offer.

So this is the backup camera and all need items to install it? is this for the CIC or the NBT?

Just the MMI module. Would need a back-up camera to make it complete.

As mentioned, my wife and son bought me the CarPlay version. I kept the camera from the original kit, but that CarPlay assumes all of the function of this module.
