535i xDrive F10 Rough Cold Startup (INCL VIDEO)
Hello Guys,
I've been camping with the issue that my car cold starts with this stuttering and jerking. The stuttering is very noticeable in the car as it "jerks" the seats and the inside cabin. Link to the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3RIpSuKSjJk I've been to the garage and they said it was normal and couldn't find any fault code (probably bc they don't wanna repair during the warranty?), but I don't think its normal. I've never had a car cold starting like this. I fear the garage is hiding something from me that I should know. I've searched around on the internet and have tried different octane fuels in RON95, RON98 and RON102 for long periods (more than a month) and this still happens. Can someone please tell me if they have this symptom too and if its indeed normal? With kind regards, Mugiwara |

My F10 has the 4 cylinder N20 engine and is about 5 years old with 16k miles on it. My car during cold starts also shakes a bit. It's enough to be noticeable. Even when the car is warm I can feel the shaking(although much more minor than the cold start one). Took it to workshops to diagnose...no codes and all readings are normal. Physical inspection also did not show anything. Both engine and trans mounts are less than 1 year old. Go figure.
