No, you would have to change the headlights completely.

Make sure you order the correct ones (whether your stocks are Halogen or Xenon) and you'll need to code out the adaptive lights if you have it.

I personally think they look good, but not worth the price as an upgrade from my Xenons. If I had halogens, I'd probably do it.
link me please, which ones would I need exactly for the upgrade I have a 2011 535i

Help!!!

Bought a pair of very expensive OEM led headlights for my Pre-lci F11 (Xenon) and i've got no clue where to start.

Need help with wiring and what FRM 3 module that will work. My current FRM is 61359247062901
Have ZGW and NBT retrofitted and a computer with ESYS but i'm to scared to try programming myself. But I could do it with assistance or perhapps get help through teamviewer

I've also bought a mirror that has S5ACA Headlight assistance in case it will be needed for the install

The route im going is to add a whole harness for the headlights from the rear fusebox all the way to the headlights. This will allow me to essentially be able to go back just in case, but also keep the factory harness intact. The wiring diagrams I've attached and another member confirmed in the other thread. I have yet to do the NBT/ZGW retrofit but that's next and after that I will also do the headlights since I have them sitting on a shelf still (its been close to a year now.. )

Why are you wanting to do NBT retrofit ? I'm thinking about it but nowadays they have androids that have ID6/7 interface lol

A whole harness!?! Ive heard that three cables to FRM from rear fusebox and one from the one in the glovecompartment.

Two CAN wires to each headlight..
But my senses tell me that two of the wires from rear fusebox should go straight to the headlights instead?

But all of this makes me wounder if its better to try to sell the lights instead

Its 3 cables from rear fuse box to the headlights, 1 wire from front/glovebox fusebox to headlight (NOT FRM). for a total fo 4 power lines to the headlights. Then you have to get 2x CAN 3 cables to each headlight from the ZGW. And then LIN cables from FRM to Headlights. Total of 8 wires to each headlight and you can buy the headlight connectors as well as all the other connectors.

Some ppl have used some splicing of other power cables but im not sure that's the safest as each headlight power line needs a unique fuse just for itself.

Its not the easiest retrofit but its definitely doable..

Its 3 cables from rear fuse box through the firewall, to the headlights, 1 wire from front/glovebox fusebox to headlight (NOT FRM). for a total of 2 power lines to each headlight. Then you have to get 2x CAN 3 cables to each headlight from the ZGW. And then LIN cables from FRM to Headlights. And then 2 ground wires but they can be attached to the ground hubs in the front right near the headlights so they don't need to be run through the car. Total 8 wires to each headlight and you can buy the headlight connectors as well as all the other connectors.

Some ppl have used some splicing of other existing power cables but i'm not sure that's the safest as each headlight power line needs a unique fuse just for itself.

Its not the easiest retrofit but its definitely doable..

Honestly I don't have the answer to that. But I know if you look up FRMs on Bmwfans or realo, you find the same part number between LCI and Non LCI cars starting 10/6 build dates.. so if you have anything newer, you should be fine. But do double check that you have the FRM3 module and not just FRM
