Sorry, been quite busy lately! With that being said, BMWMacht described it absolutely perfectly. It's not mechanical but rather electrical sounding by nature. It almost seems as if the noise is being produced from the instrument cluster. Reminds me of when voltage is a little funky and you hear a whine from a monitor screen or something similar to that. I do believe it's voltage/battery/alternator related. I've also noticed that is sometimes varies depending on how much I drive the car which is a big indicator that it's solely voltage related. Thanks again for all the advice. Perhaps a F10 M5 is somewhere in near future?!?!
