You are more than welcome.
What would you like done? Also, what year/model is your car?

Sat, 22nd March seems a good day (so far).

Let's fix the time closer to the date.

There may be a few more people coming in on the same day; so ping me around 19/20 and we will fix a time.

If your kids are strapped in the back I'd be amazed if they could see the screen. Even if they can, it's an unavoidable driver distraction, imo.

Sat 22 March seems to be popular

I suggest that we start around 2pm until 5pm. If we get more people interested, I will look at starting earlier. I need to be away by 5pm for some other commitments.

I will do everyone's car; whosoever turns up on the day/ time.

A good idea is to write a list of things you wish to be done and bring it along. If you are new (to the forums), just keep asking questions on the forum and I'm sure other people will contribute as to what else you should get done.

I will (of course) guide you to what else is possible - all really depends on how much time we get.

See you all.

< The small print > (not to put you off though):
I offer no warranties/ guarantees of any sort. Each one of you is doing this coding at your own risk - No liabilities on anyone.
I do not charge anything for this service. This is just a hobby
- to learn more, to share knowledge, to meet other enthusiast BMW owners, a bit of fun, some challenges - nothing more.

Basingstoke Coding Meet on Sat, 22 March 2pm

We have the following people coming in so far (I hope I haven't missed anyone, if I have please post here !)

- Carlycolour
- Amdb9
- Len1011
- Jocky Wilson

May I suggest that you all post here what coding you would like done in your car, this allows others to know what you are getting done and learn/ expand their knowledge base.

Try and write the list of things you wish coded (along with model/year of your car) ... and hopefully, by Sat, we will have a consolidated list !

Cheers...

As my car is less than a week old I'm probably going to be too nervous to have it coded at this point. However, I'm really keen to see what is possible with a view to perhaps dipping my toe in the water at a later date.

If there was one thing I would like to code it would be the ability to put the ambient lighting up full whack without also having to up the brightness of the dash to the max at the same time.

Also, if you can code the car to prevent the kids from throwing up in the back seats or dropping food then that would be handy

I have everything to do it and would help you lot out with me being up north but dont know how to use it an American guy did mine via teamviewer.

Thought maybe gspannu would be able to help me how to code through email or telephone but I think he's fell out with me as he hardly answers my quotes/replys in thread?

Hi,

Definitely no fall out with anyone

Its a just a lack of time (please appreciate that I only do this as a hobby; I still have a day job that requires extensive overseas travelling)

There is someone coming around Easter to learn coding (and my sincere apologies, I have forgotten who it is - I will have to go back to some of my emails) and the idea was that this person would then help out the guys up North.

My apologies; if I am not able to respond to some posts.
