Dinan Exhaust

Easily my favorite mod on the car as it livens up the driving experience. The car has been sold. Exhaust tips have some dots on them but isn't noticeable once installed - able to see up to the word "DINAN."

Clamps for installation are included. This was an easy DIY install with a buddy. Autozone rents a muffler cutting tool and BMW marks the cut with dimples on the exhaust pipe.

Hello,

How many miles with this muffler set? Also, are the "dots" pits in the metal? Any idea what caused the dots to appear?

The exhaust was on my car for roughly a year 10-12k miles on it. As far as I can tell, the dots are in the finish of the black coating. I never noticed it until the mufflers were removed as it was covered by the bumper.
