Black 2014 535i with chrome bumper trim

Hi everyone. I'm new to the thread. I just picked up a black 2014 535i x drive with lots of chrome trim on front and rear bumpers. It's only a few days old to me and I'm very excited. Plan is to go the blackout route and first order of business is to get rid of the chrome in the rear bumper.

Can anyone tell me if this is just a chrome strip that should come off easily, or do I have to paint it? Any other suggestions? Thanks!

I believe it's an added piece. Not sure how to remove it?

Change the face to M style, and cover the trim with black paint protection film.

A kind of customer-tailored wrapping film, can be applied to change the car's original color, instead of painting the car. It's convenient to change the color back just by tearing them off. In your case, you might want to try the solution to get rid of the shining parts.

Sounds like a great idea. How do I color match?
