M5 Downpipes fit with slight mods. Other than that, there are plenty of CATLess options available out there

I'd actually rather Catted based on what I've read so far. Are there no other options for Catted besides the M5 ones?

There are two options I believe.

One is AR Design, the other one Supersprint. I believe AR Design is less expensive, and I can only speak very positively on two sets of their DPs which I had on my 335i. That would probably be the route I would go down - personally I don't quite see the benefit of completely catless downpipes, just gives you another hassle with the emission CELs.

Do you already have an idea which type of catalysts you will use? HJS 200 cells?

combined with the M5 comp mufflers will adding M5 downpipes produce a better sound or cause more drone?

If you keep the stock resonators, you'll not get the drone. If you remove the resonators, the OEM M5 (Comp and Non-Comp) and Dinan mufflers, will all drone. Supposedly the Downpipes improve the engine side sound while the exhausts ofcourse help the back end sound but neither will help with drone if you remove stock resonators.

OK thanks for your response. I'm gonna go with the M5 comp mufflers and M5 downpipes and see how I like it.

Any news here - how far until your catted version hits the market?
