I sent an email to VRSF asking them if I had received the correct hardware (with pics of hardware I received with the intercooler) but no reply.

Me too! Try your screws and see if they thead in to intercooler. Mine didn't tighten up they just kept spinning so I know I got the wrong screws.

He must have checked all the remaining boxes and probably found out that supplier messed up. Check if your mechanic can do welding. He can probably make his own brackets.

Exactly. I installed it myself. The thing is, it shouldn't require a custom mounting. And if it does, it should be advertised as such. As I told him in PM, I just wanted communication. If he'd simply said "I honestly don't know, but please give me until next week [this week now], to resolve the issue", I'd have been fine. But don't bullshit me while keeping me in the dark.

Why weren't these quality control checked by Tiago himself, BEFORE sending to customers? Simply have them sent to you, double check everything, and send them out yourself.

Just received an email from customer service and they are shipping out the bolts, and offered a discount on future VRSF products.

On a whim, I contacted Wagner. They replied on 2/14 with their screw size (m6x16) and I purchased m6x15 from Home Depot and modified one of the incorrect brackets. I've been running the VRSF since then with good results.

I've been contacted by Tiago a few days ago stating the correct screws have been shipped, but not the correct brackets yet.

I wish I was doing the install..But unfortunately, it's my mechanic who'll be doing it and I don't want him to run into any issues. How hard was it to modify the bracket?

For whatever reason, I was only able to modify one side to work (passenger side). I did the same to the driver's side, but it was a different fit. A mechanic should definitely be able to get it done.

I bent my brackets slightly to make it work. I was contacted by Tiago via email and he promised to send the correct hardware.

Hey man, I can't even remove the stock IC due to the oil cooler hose on the drivers side. Did this pose as an issue with you too? I could und clips and all that but the damn hose kept getting in the way.
