I can't believe I am just finding out about this! Looks like I am adding the BMS unit to my to do list.

I loved it on my stock turbo setup, took it off after going to ps2 so I had a better feel for lag/response/etc with the new setup. Highly recommend, I had the bms version - I paid 179 a year or two ago, didn't realize they were ever cheaper.

So, for any of you guys that have a pedal tuner. Is it still noticeable after being tuned or does the JB4/MHD/BM3 fix most of pedal response issues?

From all I know, JB4/MHD/BM3 does not address pedal response, only BMS PEDAL TUNER or SPRINTBOOSTER would. It's a different mod if you will.
