JB4 VS Bootmod3

I wanted to know everyone opinion in regards different tunings. I am about to run a catless downpipe on my 2013 BMW535I and a shop tells me that they recommend better the ECU flash because the car will run better and they can make more Horsepower compare to just installing the JB4.
my car will be driven as a daily nothing crazy, nothing racing so I want to make sure the car works 100% everyday.

What do you guys think?.

IMO, ECU flash over piggyback any day. You can be out the door with MHD for much less than BM3 depending on how you option it if you're looking to save some $$$ and still have an ECU flash.

Love my JB4 on my PWG...
Easy updates in seconds, steering wheel controls with boost on fuel gauge is cool, on the fly map switching, and the bluetooth app is great, datalogging, etc etc.

No issues with mine. I run 14psi absolute target on pump has 93 octane, car runs and datalogs great. Im FBO.

I have flashes on my other cars, but i always loved the ease of use, and features of the JB4.

I just got my JB4 but haven't put it in yet. got the OBD conversion kit since mine was the older version. I think because flash tunes just came out recently it's more popular just because it's a true tune and not a piggy back

Running both bm3 and jb4 bm3 hands down much smoother and definitely feel the power difference jb4 is on map 0 just use it for its gauges.

Was on the same boat and went with BM3. Amazing results and they even have a transmission flash now. You will not be disappointed with BM3.

With BM3, if I get a stage 1 and decide to do stage 2 later, is that another charge like buying stage 1 and then stage 2 for JB4?

According to the FAQ, BM3 currently includes one map with the base purchase. A pack of ALL other OTS maps for the N55 is US$50. (every stage, every fuel)

As far as I remember, I saw a post which said that now BM3 includes all current maps and future maps for free when you purchase their flasher.
